wiseguys: ebook now available! + updates on physical book and writing and such.

The last few weeks have been moving fast, very fast indeed.

For those of you that don’t know, and it’s many of you since I did this more or less on a whim, I’m currently publishing a book. Many of you might remember my screenplay ‘Wiseguys’, my crime drama that is modeled off all those classic mafia films. Many of you also might know about how the project fell through. So I was left with this script.

Now I’m left with a book! I’ve turned Wiseguys into a book, with a few changes ito making it more of a readable script. The eBook has been launched, and is exclusively available on Amazon (due to my opting into their program ‘KDP Select’). The Kindle app is completely free, and is definitely worth downloading since all the classic novels are completely free. The link is available above, or you can click here to get to the eBook.

Now, the physical book!

So yes, I’m waiting for the physical book to come to my house so I can check the format. If I’m satisfied, I’ll send it to distributors and blog the link. It should come to me by the end of this month, but we shall see. If you wanted to buy the book, I’d say wait for the physical copy. It’s going to be better than the eBook (although the eBook is still great), and who doesn’t love a book they can touch?

So that’s about it for my updates. I hope some of you purchase the eBook, or even download the preview. If you can share and review the book (if you’ve read it) that would mean everything to me. If you have any questions or if the whole Amazon thing is pressing any concerns, please contact me! I’ll do my best to answer your questions.

There will be one day in the very near future that my eBook will have a MASSIVE discount. I will let you know as soon as I find out when that is. The best way to keep up is either here, or TWITTER. Twitter will be your best bet.

You’ll hear more when the physical book is available.

Cheers,

Mateen Manek

P.S. One of my favorite poems of my own have been added in at the back of the book. Look out for that (although it’s hard to miss)
