why are people taking their lives in Attawapiskat?

This could potentially be one of the saddest stories I’ve research. Attawapiskat has declared a state of emergency, but has been dealing with various issues for the last decade. From lack of housing to lack of mental health resources, this is an incredibly important issue.

It’s never good when a Canadian story makes international news. In the case of Attawapiskat, ON, the story is riddled with tragedy and sadness. Let us look into it more.
