I know it has been a while since my last YouTube video (and I’ll address that in a later post), but recently I did a video called “Fear Sucks.”
It was one of those things I did sort of in the moment and without any rehearsal or planning, so definitely keep that in mind. But I think these kind of epiphanies can really kind of hit you at random points in your day.
And that’s essentially how this vlog post happened. I was in my basement trying to do a handstand, and I fell. And it wasn’t like your typical “oh no what have I done” kind of fear, but it was more of a thought.
That’s what I realized. It starts as a little thought that slowly takes over your mind, and then all of a sudden you find yourself saying no to opportunities because of this one thought. Kind of like a spiral out of control situation.
And thats essentially fear; a simple thought that controls your life and stops you from doing what you want to do. It’ll be there, but you just have to recognize it.
What are your thoughts on the subject? Have you experienced fear and seen how it comes along? What have you done when you had a stare down with fear? Let me know in the comments below!
For now, enjoy the video! I might have some more very similar to it coming out soon (as a matter of fact, I do. I just thought I’d have an element of surprise open. I ruined that though. Oh well.)
