From February 5-7, the ebook will be entirely free. Completely. FREE.
Luckily, Kindle also features their apps (which are available on your computer and your mobile) for free, so you really don’t need to spend a single penny to read the ebook. Just note that the promotion is based off of PST, so it’s going by that time (if you’re on at midnight your time and it’s not free, chances are it’s because it’s not midnight in the pacific).
The last few weeks have been moving fast, very fast indeed.
For those of you that don’t know, and it’s many of you since I did this more or less on a whim, I’m currently publishing a book. Many of you might remember my screenplay ‘Wiseguys’, my crime drama that is modeled off all those classic mafia films. Many of you also might know about how the project fell through. So I was left with this script.
Things have been moving much faster than I anticipated; sometimes I feel like I do things very fast and all. But this is a good thing.
I got an e-mail recently from one of the sponsors from NaNoWriMo (the contest I took part of) telling me that one of my coupons was due to expire and I had a very short amount of time to use it. The coupon was to publish one free copy of my book. I wanted to take it, however I’m nowhere near close editing my actual novel.
So, as some of you know, I took the challenge of participating in NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month. As of last night, I have completed the first draft of my novel.
Yes, that was my reaction. That, followed by me basically knocking out until the sudden realization of me having to do my assignment for school came up.
Now, the point of this post is to chronicle some important things about my NaNo experience. One reason being to give you an update, and the other to highlight this great opportunity (in case any of you are considering doing it in the future).
Let’s start at the beginning; the very, very beginning.
Well, I haven’t written a ‘personal’ post in a long time. Here goes nothing.
For the month of November, I will be suspending my projects for the entire month. Why? It’s because I’ll be participating in NaNoWriMo, or the National Novel Writing Month.
For those of you who don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, it’s a yearly competition where writers from all around the world attempt to complete a novel of 50,000 words. You can find out more information at http://nanowrimo.org/
Yes. My EP, The Winter Year is now completely free! Seriously. Absolutely free. Like, for the taking.
First of all, I’d like to thank all my supporters for everything through the album. While making this album, I couldn’t have possibly fathomed the amount of support I received during this album from friends, family, and all the new people that I’ve only just met.
As some of you know, I released my first EP at the end of last month. The Winter Year EP, which features five tracks as well as one bonus demo, is available on my Bandcamp for all to listen and to purchase. The EP is set at $3.00.
In celebration of this blog, I’m going to be offering a discount on the EP! Up until August 24,2014, The Winter Year EP will be 67% off!
After spending about an hour trying to calculate how much it will be, I have concluded that the discount will let you download the EP for only $1.00!
The discount code will need to be entered upon the sale and will not count for any free items, which are free for you to download anyways. The code is:
